A Let’s Talk Science Community supported by the BCScTA

As K to 6 teachers, we know you have a lot on your plate! This community of practice is here to help support you in your science teaching using the BC curriculum. It is open to all teachers from K to 6 in BC, YK and NWT.

During this school year, this community will offer you a place to share and learn around teaching science amongst your colleagues. There will be ample of time for discussion as well as sharing resources and time to put into practice what we discussed in sessions.

What this community will offer you through the year : 

• A safe and supportive community where everyone has a voice, led by Let’s Talk Science Teacher Leader, Carrie Antoniazzi
• 4 online sessions spaced through the school year.
• Support in using what you have learned in between sessions
• Time to reflect on your practices
• A place to share and celebrate your successes
• Participation in an online Canvas Course, where all resources shared and discussion threads with be located to continue the conversation between sessions
