Registration cost is as follows: 
  - $40 - Online conference only (BCTF / student / retired teachers)
  - $50 - Online conference only (private school teachers)
  - $100 - Face to Face conference with option to participate online (BCTF / student / retired teachers)
  - $120 - Face to Face conference with option to participate online (private school teachers)
- A few spots will be reserved for workshop presenters
- Please carpool or take public transit if possible
- Overflow parking is available The Church of Latter Day Saints (30635 Blueridge Drive), a shuttle will run 7:30 - 8:oo
- Parking is limited

Catalyst Conference

The BCScTA’s Catalyst Conference is held annually in October during the PSA Professional Development Day. Catalyst offers the latest in science content, teaching strategy, and research to enhance and expand your professional growth. Take this opportunity to collaborate with fellow science teachers from around British Columbia.

- Please bring your own device and headphones / ear buds to participate in online workshops.

- Pre-registration is mandatory for all sessions; space is limited, and last-minute changes may not be possible. You will have your schedule printed on the back of your name tag with room assignments

- The BCScTA reserves the right to cancel the in-person portion of Catalyst 2022 for a partial refund, not including the membership fee, pending Provincial Health Office regulations and restrictions.  Delegates who chose to cancel their registration will not receive a full refund. 

Workshop Presenters 

  • Collection of workshop attendees email addresses is voluntary, and most easily done before your workshop is over (i.e. to email follow up slides, links / resources etc) 

Online Workshop Presenters 

  • There is no minimum number of workshop attendees for your session to run; online workshops are capped at 100 
  • You will not have a moderator unless you requested one upon registration 

Face-to-face Workshop Presenters  

  • Classrooms are set up with HDMI or VGA; please come prepared with adaptors that are compatible with your device / computer  
  • If you need speakers, please email bcscta@gmail.com to request this beforehand

3. Alternately, join us in Abbotsford, and have the option to participate in online workshops and an additional 30+ face-to-face workshops plus the Exhibit Hall.
4. Pre-registration is mandatory for face-to-face sessions, for comfort and safety; space is limited, so don't delay in registering
